Employer/Employee Disputes

Mediating disputes between employees and employers is the most private path to settling disputes. We live in a small community and word of employment issues in a business can spread like wildfire. A legal proceeding, and many documents filed for it, are available to the public. The Summit Daily News, your neighbors, anyone in the community, can access the pleadings filed for a motion hearing. Before you file anything with the court, you should attempt mediation to resolve employment disputes.

Most employer/employee contracts include a clause requiring either binding arbitration or mediation to resolve disputes prior to filing documents with the court. Mediation is the best solution for common-sense solutions to all employee/employer issues.

Call or email us for more information or to schedule a mediation session, either at our office in Dillon or by Zoom.
